Description:

This 2021-built, 50′ Lagoon sailing catamaran, SCUBA DOO 50, has one of the nicest saloons of all the Lagoon designs.  Kudos to the designers for opening up the seating in the main saloon, so you no longer have to squeeze behind a dining room table to enjoy seating around this comfortable deck saloon.  Instead, the dining table tips up and out completely, leaving the comfortable couch in the saloon open for all to sit down and enjoy this lovely compartment with windows all around so you can see the view!  Air conditioning and thick cushions on the couch make this sitting room a wonderful place to come into the shade!

The new crew are Kris and Anetta, a lovely young couple from the UK, who are not only qualified scuba instructors but experienced restaurant owners too.  Kris opened five restaurants, and one winter he and Anetta opened a food stand in New York that was very popular.  This year aboard SCUBA DOO, they offer the same high standard of food, only this vendor has a view!

Kris is a dive instructor and Anetta is a dive master.  They have a compressor aboard, and Kris offers scuba courses and certification, along with great food and great sailing around the Virgin Islands.

Anetta is the chef but because of Kris’s background in the food industry, he will do some of the cooking aboard SCUBA DOO too.

Last winter Kris and Anetta ran the 50′ sailing catamaran GREAT ADVENTURE in the Virgin Islands.  This is their second year cruising the Virgin Islands.  They know the area well.  Kris has a 100 ton sailing license.

Both are from New York; both have worked in luxury and hospitality.

SCOBA DOO sleeps six to eight guests in two Queen cabins to starboard and one Queen and one double cabin forward to port.  The crew sleep aft to port and swap their cabin (at extra cost) for the guest double, if guests require four superior cabins.  There are three guest bathrooms only, but the foc’sle has a head, which the crew use.

Kris and Anetta have fishing gear aboard, BBQ, and two subwings!  Plus much more.

  • Available year round from Tortola and/or St. Thomas, SCUBA DOO charters for:
  • $25,000 weekly all inclusive for two guests
  • $25,500 weekly for three
  • $26,000 weekly for four
  • $26,500 weekly for five
  • $27,000 weekly for six
  • $27,500 weekly for seven
  • $28,000 weekly for eight all inclusive – Gratuity is not included but expected.
