Description:

BLUE HORIZON – 60’ Horizon power cat, available year round from Tortola for parties of two, three, or four with captain and chef for $26,500 to $27,500 weekly (depending on number in party) all inclusive; gratuity is extra.  Christmas and New Year’s weeks are $29,500 weekly all inclusive, and optional St. Thomas pickups are possible for an additional $700.  Blue Horizon bases in Nanny Cay, Tortola.  Gratuity is not included.

Saloon – “Clubby” and private type arrangement with cocktail lounge to starboard and bar with stools to port; the floors are marble, the leather fabrics fine, and soft music playing. A gorgeous painting of a palm tree leaning over the water in front of a sunset completes this Zen-like place. There is lots and lots of AC; an L-shaped, chrome ladder climbs up over the bar/galley for indoor access to the fly bridge above, and it can be accessed from the aft deck as well.  Sliding glass doors open to the aft deck offering out of door dining.

Ready in waiting Crew – Tall, young, energetic Captain Alex from Ireland is quick to giggle in blue and tan uniform. He has lived in the Caribbean for a number of years; his chef is pretty West Indian Euslyn from Grenada, who cooks all styles of cuisine but specializes in Caribbean flavors.  Her galley bar in the main saloon is amply equipped with Subzero fridges and freezers, coffee station, espresso machine and a French press, to name a few items….

Captain Only Option – For luxury-loving guests who enjoy nightlife and dining ashore, BLUE HORIZON can also be chartered with captain only plus expenses. When this happens, the yacht can accommodate up to six guests in three staterooms.  This is a good way to support the local economy, and guests do not have to pay for meals twice, once aboard and another time ashore….  The rate for BLUE HORIZON without chef and food is $22,900 weekly + 10% APA for fuel for up to six guests in three staterooms.  Gratuity not included.

Sleeps 4-6 Guests in 2-3 Staterooms:  When chartered fully crewed, Blue Horizon accommodates four guests max.  When chartered without chef, the yacht will accommodate six guests.  Full beam master stateroom located on the main deck has a bed facing forward through windows with shades on electronics overlooking the bow!  An elegant brown leather headboard flanks the bed; there is television with Netflix; the bathroom is downstairs in two compartments.  Downstairs on the left is the second guest cabin, a pretty VIP stateroom with large centerline Queen bed facing windows opening up views to the ocean beyond.  The third stateroom has lower twin single beds for families and is only available on captain only charters.  All have their own bathroom and all have lots of air conditioning.

Fly Bridge – air conditioned top deck with L-shaped settee, wicker chairs, bar with stools, BBQ, steering station – gorgeous!

Water Sports – inflatable tender with powerful outboard, stand up paddle boards, trampoline, kayak, Seabobs, wake board, water skis, mono ski, Subwings, snorkeling.   The yacht does not own scuba gear but rendezvous diving can easily be arranged.

Large Aft Deck Dining – on teak decks with prettily set dining table.

Bow – Catamaran power boat with two bows and sun loungers – lots of space.

Economical on Fuel – $1,500 to $2,000 covers fuel for a week in the BVI, cruising at 10 knots.

Amenities – Full air conditioning, generator, invertor, ice maker, watermaker, saloon TV with Netflix, Special diets, Kosher, BBQ, ipod hookups, deck shower, onboard wifi
