Description:
Felicia – The perfect yacht in every way – a full beam main saloon – galley below – and five private guest staterooms including one large master stateroom with King bed plus three equal Queen staterooms plus fifth guest stateroom with bunk beds located over the bow, available on request. This is a high performance sailing catamaran with traditional appointments such as varnished maple bulkheads with teak trim and teak and holly cabin sole, creating a nautical feel.
Rates and Availability – Available year round from Tortola for $23,000 to $26,000 weekly all inclusive for two to eight guests except $29,000 weekly for Christmas and $31,200 weekly for New Years. Ten berth rates on request. The yacht spends the spring in St. Maarten, and July and August are available in the Grenadine Islands.
Built in 1999, the three queen guest beds are located up against the wall, whereas the modern yachts have centerline beds…. But Felicia is a gorgeous vessel, and her crew does a wonderful job, creating plentiful buffet spreads and gorgeous cabin presentations on a daily basis that continuously create the wow factor that you are going for.
Classic catamaran with indoor outdoor living with two dining tables in the cockpit featuring a groaning board of gorgeous foods such as pancakes and blueberry biscuits with marmalade. Gorgeously set dining table with white table napkins spread out like a lotus flower on white plates – white on white. Side tables of infused water.
Amenities – Built in 1999 and refitted in 2017, the yacht has lots of AC in the saloon and guest cabins, iPod hook ups, Satellite TV, onboard Wifi, two generators, ice maker, and 210 and 110 electricity, plus watermaker.
Crew – Young blond captain Arnaud Blankette is friendly and assisted by Vernice Simon, who doubles as the chef and hostess, and she specializes in Caribbean cooking. They provide ecofriendly products and sunscreens.
Special Diets – Chef/hostess Vernice Simon from St.Vincent won a prize at the November 2019 Tortola boat show and participated in the broker yacht hop and had a video of her plating from last year. Works of art they were! Vernice accommodates special diets.
Plain cabins because she’s an older boat with beds along the wall, but crew make up for this by decorating them gorgeously! With turn down service daily, guests are greeted each morning with baskets of products, and birds of paradise flowers, scented navy blue throws on the navy blue bedspreads in the guest cabins. Beautiful presentations. Nightly turn down service. Cabins are made up again in the morning, so they always look beautiful.
Bar – Guests can grab their own sodas from the bar in the main saloon and the coffee machine is always on the ready.
Satellite TV – Main deck master and the main deck saloon have Direct TV only. All the rest of the guest staterooms have DVD players.
Master Stateroom – Main deck master stateroom with King berth with Swan towel art in grey and white on gray and blue bedspreads plus throws over white sheets; trays of water bottles, welcome kit, chocolates, and sailing cap.
Deck Space – There is lots of space forward for sunbathing with awning and hammock, fitted cushions in gray on the coach roof.
Kite Surfing – Arnaud offers kite surfing; he hires an instructor but the captain kitesurfs. The yacht is a good boat for kitesurfers. Instructors at the Anegada kite surfing school teach guests how to kitesurf.
Four Guest Cabins plus option for Fifth Stateroom over the bow on request, a bunk bed cabin. Master cabin has a King bed.
Cockpit – Sunbeds outboard of the cockpit offer a cool place to relax at sea; there is no fly bridge, but there are brand new solar panels.
Sports Gear – 15’ center console tender with 90 hp outboard, childrens and adult waterskis, tubes, floating mats, two stand up paddle boards, kiteboarding rental from Anagada, fishing gear, knee board, wakeboard, trolling and casting rods (Anagada has bone fishing places) – beach games, one two-person kayak, snorkel gear, floating flamingo, noodles, Satellite TV, fully air conditioned.
