Description:
MARNAYA – This stunning, classic, 108’ Maiora motor yacht, built in 2010 accommodates 12 guests in four, spacious cabins plus a convertible den and excels in family charters. Including the full beam den, whose couch folds out to a Queen berth, she offers three full beam King cabins, making her ideal for three couples as well. Two additional twin cabins, each with foldaway upper Pullman berth, enables the yacht to accommodate families of twelve in five staterooms. Each stateroom has a private bathroom, and the two doubles are the full beam of the yacht, as is the den the full beam of the boat. Therefore, you could say that MARNAYA offers guests three full beam staterooms, which makes the yacht special and unique. Given the extra space, this means the beds are King-size, making her even more comfortable, and the stewardesses do turn down service at night; they leave chocolates on the pillow; they fill jugs of water in each stateroom in silver decanters at night; the varnished mahogany paneling in all the cabins below gleam; there is thick pile carpeting in white for a classic look; there is niche art of silver sculptures; the window treatments are fine and luxurious; the twins cabins have Playstation for children, plus TV with radio and large bathrooms. All the staterooms are air conditioned; all have televisions and movies. The stewardesses Nandia and Maria display books, hats and games for children on the beds, giving children things to do always. When guests come down to their staterooms after dinner, they find their beds turned down and in night time mode with lights dimmed in readiness for sleep. The master cabin has walk in closet, dressing room, and silver sculptures, plus large bathroom with stone dual sinks. The VIP full beam King stateroom had trays of champagne and chocolates on the pillow, when we inspected the vessel in May, 2019; for families celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, or special occasions, a yacht charter is the perfect occasion. The mahogany paneling, the white carpets, the stylish widow treatments and ample AC, make this yacht a classic that really stands out.
The yacht’s gracious saloon has lovely varnished mahogany paneling, soft lighting, lampshades, white carpets, silver sculptures and is spacious for twelve guests. The crew of six, headed by Captain Joseph, who has been aboard ten years, along with chef George and engineer, who also have been aboard ten years, had set a beautiful dining table in the formal dining saloon forward of the saloon for our inspection, but guests have the option to dine alfresco on the main deck aft, or up on the fly bridge, where guests can sun themselves and find views and comfortable lounges at sea. Chef George, an artist with food, has hotel experience and offers fine dining. The bow has fitted cushions on the coach roof for sunbathing also; Captain Joseph calls the bow the ‘port seat,’ because this is a great place to sit as the yacht comes into port. The yacht carries jet skis and they also now carry not one, but two tenders. The crew of six anticipates their guests’ needs. All are as nice as they can be with a perfect command of the English language. They carry a wealth of knowledge of the cruising ground and safety at sea.
MARNAYA charters for EUR 59,500 weekly + 30% APA + 12% VAT + gratuity June 15-September 15; she reduces this rate to EUR 49,000 weekly May 1-June 14 and September 16-October 31.
