Description:

MOON BLOSSOM – 50’ Leopard catamaran, a  2020 design, owned by S/Y Blossom’s owner, operated by Jamie Young and Thea, who ran Blossom in the Virgin Islands last year (2018/2019).  Their third year with the owner, they joined Moon Blossom in September 2019; this ship has an enormous fly bridge for her size, the full gamut of plates and dishes for every kind of menu, beautiful interior appointments, master cabin, and forward cockpit. Available year round from St. Thomas except August and September for $18,500 to $20,900 weekly all inclusive for two to six guests (rates slide according to number in party), except $24,000 weekly for Christmas and $25,500 weekly for New Year’s.  Rates do not include gratuity.

Sleeps 6 guests in 3 cabins – A master plus two queens.  The forward port cabin is used by the crew.  All three beds face windows in the hull, offering views of the cruising ground from inside.  All three staterooms are beautiful ‘suites,’ with AC controls.

Fly Bridge – There’s a couch up there, plus coffee table, and sun beds.  Plus helm station, unusual for a 50 footer, but this Leopard 50 was built in 2020, a 2020 model, so she’s new!  The design is newer and better, and her fly bridge is enormous by 50 foot standards.

Main Saloon – A door opens to a cockpit forward on the bow, allowing breezes to flow through the boat at anchor.  A second door opens aft to the aft cockpit on the same level, so there are no stairs to contend with; indoor and outdoor living is offered.  The saloon blasts with air conditioning.  The dining table in the saloon has a beautiful table setting with silver napkin rings on square white plates.

Aft Cockpit – Beautifully appointed, it has large orange and turquoise throw cushions on a U-shaped couch in gray with dining table with turquoise placemats, crystal glasses, jugs of infused juice, baskets of yellow and white striped towels, awning for shade at sea, and weather curtains that keep the elements out at night.  The yacht offers indoor and outdoor dining.

Forward Cockpit – With two bench settees and lots of throw cushions, there are mattresses outboard of the settees there for sunbathing at sea.  This cockpit is also covered by a roof….

Sugar Scoops – Davits on the stern hoist the dinghy with 40 hp outboard up while sailing, if needed, and there is indeed a swim platform that runs the full width of the ship aft plus sugar scoops (the back end of the two hulls).

Master Stateroom – Larger than the other three staterooms aboard, the master cabin has a Queen bed facing windows in the hull offering views of the cruising ground from inside the cabin.  A blue throw blanket with purple strip runs athwartship the bed, plus there are matching purple floral throw cushions.  Shades on the windows keep the light out or allow views to come in, and the AC was blasting when I was aboard in November 2019….  Pocket doors, vanity desk, enormous shower in the private ensuite bathroom, and television.

VIP Queen – Located aft to port, this stateroom has a centerline queen facing windows with shades for views of the sea, plus modern gray minimalist furniture, plus pink striped throw at the foot of the bed with matching pink throw cushions, plus rolled towels in turquoise – beautiful!  Private bathroom with reef-safe toiletry products.

Stainless steel galley – Located in the saloon, this is a beautiful, modern yacht!
