Description:
Available in Croatia with Croatian crew for Summer 2017, this beautiful 115’ Classic Benetti displacement power yacht, PIDA, was built in 2000 and gleams with new varnish! Refitted three times in the last three years, this 10-berth yacht gleams inside and out from the engine room to the sun deck, and there is a sky lounge (it’s mainly an office) in addition to the main saloon. Both have adjoining aft decks with out of door dining (the main saloon has a dining table too), and there is a Sun deck as well with Jacuzzi, arch, chaise lounges, arm chairs, grill, and shade from the sun.
PIDA accommodates ten guests in five staterooms. The full beam main deck master has a foreposter bed, suited for a Princess! It’s beautiful! The bathroom has heated floors. Below on the accommodation deck are four additional guest staterooms, including two Queens and two Twins cabins. All have windows with extravagant curtain treatments (similar to the Master cabin), all have day and night light settings; all have private bathroom.
PIDA’s saloon is by Valsecchi. Blue and gold couches blend with blue and white rugs and contrast with varnished mahogany paneling. It’s a lounge, bar, and dining saloon – classic! The sky lounge has a dumbwaiter, bar, owner’s office, a private bathroom with shower, TV, radio music system, swag curtain, hard drive with music…. Guests enjoy the aft bridge deck with dining table, shade, lounge, all of which has been newly painted. The sun deck offers an out door Jacuzzi, shade, arch, chaise lounges, arm chairs, and grill. The captain’s bridge is loaded with state of the art electronics including a control stick for acceleration, radars, electronic charms, and “ICE” – an automatic identification system. ICE gives the crew the name, speed, and destination of the ship they might be getting close to at night at sea, so that each ship can alter course without having to call each other on the radio, although crews usually call anyway, just to be social.
PIDA’s six crew from Croatia, headed by Captain Boris Sore, include an excellent chef “Duse”, who will, no doubt, win the cooking competition at the Greek charter yacht show cook-off 2017. Duse is professionally trained and has competed many times, having worked on previous charter yachts and at fine restaurants in Croatia. Captain Boris Sore says there are 1200 islands and bays in Croatia for small and country cruising, but the entire coastline offers small villages and towns, where you find everything fresh and organic. The six crew are rounded out by two stewardesses, first officer, and engineer.
PIDA bases in Trogir, Croatia, which is near Split, centrally located to explore the best of the Croatian coast, but VAT tax is 25%. To avoid paying any tax at all, you may begin in Montenegro and end anywhere in Croatia. PIDA charters for 75,000 Euros a week plus 30% APA in May, June, September, and October, and 85,000 a week during July and August. Click here for a color photo presentation.
