Description:
SEA BOSS – Magnificent 60’ Horizon power cat, built in 2016 with main deck master cabin plus lower deck VIP queen, plus third twin cabin for families. Warm wengi wood interior and solid oak floors….
Rates – Available year round from St. Thomas for $30,500 to $32,500 weekly all inclusive for two to six guests except $35,750 weekly for Christmas and $37,375 for New Years; rates include three hours of engine time per day. In BVI for summer 2020.
British crew of two – Laura and Nathan Curtain lend themselves well to the job. Laura’s background comes from many years sailing the Caribbean, where she amassed a huge portfolio of experience and charters. Ashburton trained, she was a confidant chef to begin with; she attended only to pick up extra skills.
Stunning Master located on the main deck with King bed and wengi wood and teak woods, silk panel headboard, sconces, and bathroom downstairs. Surf-board type jet showers – great!
This is a completely new Sea Boss, upgraded in 2016; she belonged to the owner of Horizon Yachts but after Hurricane Irma when the old Sea Boss was dropped, the manager of Horizon Yachts said, “Here, take this one; I’ll get another.” This Sea Boss has all the bells and whistles – real leather cushions in the saloon, cream colors, real leather stools in the galley bar, dining on the aft deck; she has a power boat feel of quality and elegance.
Crew quarters – The crew have their own bathroom and quarters. So they don’t share with the guests. The third guest cabin is a twin that converts to a King;
Captain Nathan Curtain is young, friendly, trim, and energetic.
Fly Bridge – completely set up for the Caribbean with wrap around curtains with air conditioning inside, you have a choice of opening the flaps for fresh breezes or closing them for air conditioned comfort. Laura and Nathan serve lunches up there, where there is a full bar and grill; guests spend a lot of time up there, says Nathan; it’s a great place to hang out.
Plenty of space for six people to spread out on the ship – Six people get away on the bow, on the aft upper deck, in the saloon, and in the aft main cockpit, and there is a reclining couch on the bow as well, a deck bed.
Amazing tender with bimini and fishing rods – Nathan loves watersports – it fits the whole family and is great for a photo shoot of the yacht underway.
Sports – 19’ tender with 150 hp outboard, tubes, two stand up paddle boards, underwater camera, fishing gear, underwater video camera, knee board, wake board, lots of lures and four fishing rods, fishing permit, waterskiis, and children’s skis, beach games, snorkel gear. Karaoke machine, exercise bike on fly bridge, go pro camera, six person floating island, wireless sound system.
