Description:
SUMMER DREAMS – Modern and minimalist, Armani-type, 113’ Admiral motor yacht, built in 2003 and refitted in 2016. She sleeps 12 guests in five staterooms: 3 doubles, 2 twins; 2 Pullmans. 7 crew. Available from Athens, Greece for EUR 65,000 weekly + 12% VAT + 30% APA + gratuity during July and August and EUR 55,000 weekly during May, June, September and October. Saloon in gray with sitting room aft with leather couches on both sides of the room with white and black throw cushions. It leads aft to a deck with dining table and forward through the dining saloon to the main deck master stateroom. The formal dining saloon is separated from the sitting room aft by columns that frame the dining table, which is set with white plates and red roses in water. Tina, the assistant stewardess had scattered red rose petels with diamonds all over the table and lit floating candles. “We love flowers,” she giggled, showing me around. Chief stewardess Anastasia accompanied us. Blond and pretty, dressed in gray suit and scarves, she said, “Tina and I are a good team. We all help each other here; even the captain chimes in, and he is friendly with a good sense of humor. We promise to give guests a memorable holiday.”
The main deck master stateroom was where the galley used to be positioned, but the owner moved it below and converted the area to a master stateroom with King bed; it’s the full beam of the boat. For fun there was a tray of champagne and glasses on the bed with rose petals and candles. The stateroom has wood paneling and gorgeous bathroom with stone shower. All the blinds, lights, stereo, television and electronic equipment are operated by iPad remote control.
The rest of the cabins are located below on the accommodation deck. Two twin cabins have Pullmans; two, identical, guest doubles are aft; one converts to a twin stateroom. Vases of marbles hold long stem roses, and there is lots of AC and mirrors. All have modern bathrooms.
Up on the bridge deck, the bridge opens up onto the sun deck, which is minimalist in design with ample deck beds aft, and two dining tables/sitting rooms under an arch that supplies glorious shade. Anastasia had put games of backgammon out, floating candles, baskets of sunscreens, and they proudly showed me their enormous slide. Who needs a jacuzzi when a slide splashes you into the water quicker! Bow seating contains a deck bed and bench settee – gorgeous!
The crew of 7 are vivacious, friendly and knowledgeable.
