Description:

This 62′ Leopard sailing catamaran, THE BIG DOG, sleeps six guests and offers sailing performance.  It has a fly bridge like other catamarans, but the boom is at the normal level, so THE BIG DOG offers better sailing performance.  Terry and Ruth Moss the crew from Ireland, aboard since 2018, brought the yacht out of moth balls that year, buying all new linens and sails; they gave the yacht an enormous refit.  2023’s improvements include a new water maker, which produces 70 gallons of water an hour, and they purchased two new inflatable paddleboards and sea scooters, plus new linen.  The main saloon has a bar with stool, plus dining table; the galley is not located in the saloon, making more space in the saloon.  It opens onto a large aft deck with dining table.  Sunbathing is forward, and there is a fly bridge as well.

GENERAL RATES NOTE: All rates are for 7 nights, 8 days.
For short charters please use the divide-by-6 rule for figuring short charter premiums.
Charters of less than 4 nights available depending on schedule and season, please inquire.

HURRICANE SEASON: Please press client to purchase trip insurance. Please add hurricane clause as well to your contract. Yacht will allow client to rebook unused dates within 6 months of cancellation (excluding holidays. Yacht not responsible for clients shore side expenses if charter cancelled for named storm (this includes meals, hotels, transportation as well as air transport).

CHRISTMAS / NEW YEAR’S RATES 2023/24:
1-8 guests: $36,000 – 7 night minimum – Nanny Cay Ports please
Christmas charter must end no later than the 26th December. New Year charter cannot begin earlier than 28th December.

Family special; if a 7 or 8 pax charter consists of a family with 2 or more children (under 16) take $2,500 off the full (7 nights) 7 or 8 pax rate.
